In the Community

Universities are a dynamic and integral part of community life, supporting vibrant experiences, lively discussion and the sharing of ideas.

Participation in community and business initiatives and projects make Bond University a better place. We want our students to actively participate in the events and issues that matter to our community and our world.

This philosophy is the foundation of Bond’s Community Engagement program, and has been part of Bond’s strategy from its earliest days.  The Community Engagement program supports and delivers a series of events, forums and activities that build local and international relationships, contribute to cultural, social and economic development, and support the advancement of knowledge, learning, ideas and social innovation.

Bond engages with the community by offering a vibrant and diverse program of cultural events and other activities, including guest speakers, events linked to research and teaching, business forums, collaborative projects and sponsorships, interaction with schools, and welcoming community use of University facilities.

Bond's Faculty staff are committed to a range of mutually beneficial relationships, partnerships and projects such as through contributing their expertise, research collaborations, interactions with Alumni, international programs and myriad activities that create opportunities for students.

This commitment reflects Bond University's understanding of community engagement as vital to providing well-rounded, world class education, and as intrinsic to the University's integral role in community life.
