Produced Bond University’s first clay-animated film, Glam to Sham, which was named Best Tertiary Film in the Open category of the 2005 Warner Roadshow Queensland New Filmmakers Awards. Appointed Director of Academic Affairs for Bond University's Film & Television Student Society. |
| 2004 | Through contacts made during Bond internship, is now working for producers Larry Gordon and Lloyd Levin. How My Next Door Neighbour Discovered Life on Mars named top 10 finalist for Best Short Film at the Boston Motion Picture Awards (USA) and screened as official festival opener at Canadian National Youth Film Festival. |
| 2005 | Produced a short film with fellow Bond students, How My Next Door Neighbour Discovered Life On Mars which won awards at Queensland Cinema Society, Newcastle Film Festival and Spirit on Screen Awards (NZ). Due to Bond’s fast-tracked degree, graduated at 19 in an industry where ‘youth’ is very important. Was the youngest student ever invited to join a class of only 19 for a three-month professional producing program at the University of California (LA) and undertook internship with Larry Gordon, producer of such films as Hellboy, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider, Die Hard and Predator. |
| 2006 | Began working for Academy Award nominated producer, Lawrence Gordon (Field of Dreams, Die Hard, Boogie Nights) in Santa Monica, California. |
| 2008 | Worked with Lawrence Gordon on the release of “Hellboy II: The Golden Army”. Directed by Guillermo del Toro, the film went on to gross over $160 million worldwide. |
| 2009 | Worked with Lawrence Gordon on the release of “Watchmen”. Directed by Zack Snyder, the adaptation of the famed DC graphic novel went on to gross over $180 million worldwide. - Began working for Academy Award nominated director and producer, R.J. Cutler (The War Room, American High, 30 Days) in Hollywood, California. Worked with R.J. Cutler on the release of “The September Issue”. Directed and produced by Cutler, the documentary about Anna Wintour and the making of Vogue magazine went on to win the Grand Jury for Excellence in Cinematography Award: U.S. Documentary at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and enjoyed the fifth highest opening weekend ever for a documentary. |
| 2011 | Co-produced the documentary “Fish” for USA Network. The short film by R.J. Cutler witnesses the journey from ocean to table as, in the course of one day, celebrity chef Jon Shook goes fishing off the coast of Southern California and returns to his new restaurant to craft a dish around his catch of the day. |
