David Noonan

Game Development Officer

After completing his Sport Management degree, David moved to Darwin to become Program Manager at one of the Northern Territory's largest sports centres.

2004Graduated from Kingscliff High School, New South Wales
2005Enrolled in a Bachelor of Sport Management, attracted by the location, small classes, personalised attention and strong reputation of Bond University
2006Undertook internship organised by Bond University with local tennis club, gaining practical on-the-job experience in a real world setting
2007

Completed Bachelor of Sport management in just two years of study

Commenced management position with DTC Sports, managing the day-to-day operations and strategic planning for one of Darwin’s major sports centres
2009Assisted in the management of major Australian tennis tournaments in the Darwin area as well as assisting Tennis NT develop tennis in the Northern Territory
2010

Returned to the Gold Coast and secured position of AFL Development Officer with AFL Queensland, responsible for the delivery of development programs, including AFL Auskick and school football, across South-East Queensland

Relocated to Townsville after obtaining new AFL Development Officer position with AFL Queensland
