After graduating with Bond University's inaugural Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery cohort, Edmond was selected from more than 600 applicants Australia-wide to take up an internship at Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Undertook numerous clinical placements in a wide range of medical fields, including cardiology-focused electives at the Centenary Institute in Sydney, Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and the Adventist Hospital in Hong Kong

Assisted leading cardiologist, Prof. Rohan Jayasinghe, and international forensic expert, Prof. Angela Van Daal, on research into the genetic aspects of cardiovascular disease

Engaged as Junior Research Coordinator in Cardiology at the Gold Coast Hospital

2009Graduated as part of Bond’s inaugural MBBS cohort, qualifying as a doctor in less than five years
2010Selected from 600 applicants Australia-wide to take up an internship at Royal Melbourne Hospital
