Kate Sloan

Postgraduate Scholar - Aquatic Testing, Training & Research Unit

Kate completed her Masters of Sports Science in just one year, studying and working full-time. She has since gone on to work with the Australian Swimming Team as a postgraduate scholar at the Australian Institute of Sport.

2007

Enrolled in Masters of Sports Science at Bond University; completed degree in just 12 months while working and studying full-time

Gained practical experience working with elite surf swimmers training at the Bond University pool
2008

Completed three weeks’ work experience with the New South Wales (NSW) Institute of Sport at the NSW and national swimming titles

Completed four-week internship at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS), working with the Australian Swimming Team during their Beijing Olympic Orientation Camp
2009Accepted as postgraduate scholar with the Aquatic Testing, Training and Research Unit at the AIS
