After completing her Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Health Science Honours research at Bond, Kylie discovered the commercial side of scientific research, preparing products for the marketplace.

2004Graduated from Benowa State High School, Queensland, and was awarded a Collegiate Scholarship through the school’s partnership with Bond University
2005Chose to study Biomedical Science at Bond University due to high quality of teaching staff, small personalised classes and access to cutting-edge science facilities and research programs
2006Completed the Bachelor of Biomedical Science in less than two years
2007

Awarded scholarship to complete Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours), majoring in Pharmacology and Physiology

Research findings published in the British Journal of Pharmacology and invited to present at the National Science Conference in Adelaide after being the first to identify a receptor which may lead to new incontinence treatments
2008

Completed Honours degree at Bond and secured position at ERA Consulting, a regulatory affairs company in Brisbane dealing with the commercial aspect of science research through the preparation of products for the marketplace

Offered a position as trainee patent attorney at Varsity IP, providing clients specialist knowledge in the areas of Pharmacology and Physiology
2010 - Current

Achieved registration as a Trade Marks Attorney

Currently undertaking Masters degree, with the aim of becoming a registered Patent Attorney
