Cornel Mirciov

BHlthSci (Hons) Student

In his second year of study at Bond, Cornel completed 100 hours of clinical experience with the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR). He is now working in conjunction with the QIMR in their Iron Metabolism Laboratory as part of his Honours.

2007

Enrolled in a Bachelor of Sports Science at Bond

Completed 100 hours of clinical experience with the Queensland Institute of Medical Research (QIMR) during semester holidays
2009Graduated with a Bachelor of Sports Science, achieving First in Class honours and being placed on the Dean’s List for Academic Excellence on numerous occasions
2010 - Onwards

Received partial scholarship from the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine to undertake a Bachelor of Health Sciences with Honours

Worked with the QIMR in their Iron Metabolism Laboratory as part of Honours research project and was one of six students in Queensland to be awarded 2010 QIMR Scholarship

Plans to continue studies and undertake PhD
