Centre for Research in Evidence-Based Practice Casual appointment for up 12 months (7.5 hours per week) Hourly rate: $40.48 per hour Position Reference Number: HSM1280 About the Position: The primary purpose of this position will be to provide database and software support and development on a number of projects as part of the NHMRC Australia Fellow Grant. The Software Support / Development Officer will be required to work both autonomously and as part of a dedicated team. The successful applicant will take responsibility for the software support and development of databases and other applications for projects to allow Research teams to focus on the Research component of projects. About the Person: The successful applicant is required to have either made substantial progress towards a Degree in Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognised educational institution OR hold equivalent industry qualifications, or have experience in a commercial or educational workplace. Experience in software support and development is desirable.
