About the Position:
The Senior Technical Officer (IT Broadcast Engineer) will coordinate the delivery of specialised ICT services in the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences. This position will be responsible for technology service delivery to a range of stakeholders and for the implementation and support of server and AV technologies.
The incumbent will be expected to work closely with Information Technology Services and other Technical Officers to ensure the highest levels of service are delivered at all times.
About the Person:
The successful applicant will have relevant IT Broadcast qualifications (including MITC or TV OPPS Certification) or equivalent experience and an advanced working knowledge of server software, including Windows Server, OS X Server & Linux.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate experience with centralised video storage systems, computerised playback systems such as Grass Valley KV2, HD workflows, and the proven ability to troubleshoot and repair problems that arise. It is desirable that the successful applicant have experience working with VizRT graphic systems including Virtual Studio and MAM products along with programming and/or scripting experience.
Salary details:
The salary for this position will commence at $53,288 plus 9% superannuation per annum.
