About the Position:
The Office of Research Services is the central administrative unit that provides support to the Faculties and Institute relating to research and research consultancy activities. The Research Scholarships & Contracts Officer provides central coordination for all higher degree by research (HDR) student scholarships, including fee waivers, living stipends and HDR compliance matters. This role also undertakes key support for researchers in relation to post-award research contract and financial administration and will provide backup within the Grants & Ethics team as required.
About the Person:
The successful candidate will have an undergraduate degree or equivalent training and/or experience. They will demonstrate high level administrative skills, excellent problem solving skills and the ability to prepare a range of complex business documents. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a proactive and professional manner as part of a small team are essential. Experience in a research, university or finance environment is highly desirable.
Salary Details:
The salary range for this position is $57,029 to $62,317 (full-time salary) per annum plus 17.5% superannuation. There is the option for this position to be considered on a part-time basis for a minimum of 22.5 hours per week.
