Live at Bond - Bec Whitehead & Jazz it Up

Bec Whitehead is an upcoming local jazz and soul singer.  At only 19 years old she is making a big impact, entertaining crowds at the Broadbeach Jazz Festival, performing at home games of the Jetstar Gold Coast Titans, and appearing at hotels including Palazzo Versace and the Crowne Plaza.  Her repertoire ranges from classic standards to contemporary jazz.

Bec is a regular guest on Australia's best jazz station, the Gold Coast's own Jazz Radio 94.1FM.

Bec's early years were infused with jazz through her father's passion for the classics.  She cites Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra as formative influences.  A pivotal moment in Bec's music career was her rendition of Björk’s 'It's Oh So Quiet' at her Year 7 graduation.  Since then, she has performed with John Rowles, The Platters and the Gypsy Swingers.

Bec Whitehead's engaging stage presence has been winning audiences across the Gold Coast.

Come along and support home grown talent, Bec Whitehead and her ensemble, Jazz it Up, performing on her 20th birthday!
