Cheap Fakes launch the Live at Bond 2012 music series!
Cheap Fakes are a six piece soul ensemble whose eclectic fusion of funk, pop, reggae and dance music has been captivating audiences since 2009. Their off-beat guitars and catchy melodies have earned them party favourite status across Queensland and interstate, with music that is fun, uplifting and great to dance to.
Their debut album, Stones and Sticks was released independently in July 2010, quickly reaching number one on Brisbane’s 4ZzZ FM’s Top 20 charts and receiving regular air play on Triple J. Sarah Howells of Triple J’s Roots ‘n’ All program voted Stones & Sticks in her Top 10 albums of 2010.
They are releasing a new album in March ... expect to hear an exciting blend of old and new repertoire!

Best parking is on the Varsity Lakes precinct side of Bond, in general parking area PG3.
Enter PG3 by turning left just past the Mirvac School of Sustainable Development building, into the driveway beside The Terraces.

Live at Bond runs seasonally in 2012, on the last Sunday of the month through autumn and spring. ADCO Amphitheatre, 3pm-5:15pm.
