Interactive Media Day

On Monday 11th March, Bond University is welcoming Year 11 and Year 12 students to spend a day on campus learning about careers in Interactive Media. Students will participate in interactive activities while experiencing what university life is all about.

Registration and welcome to Bond University (Building 1A, Level 3, Common Room)

9.15am

Bond University campus tour

10.00am

What is Interactive Media? – presented by Professor Jeff Brand

10.45am

Morning tea (students to bring their own)

11.00am

Build a computer game with Associate Professor Penny de Byl and Interactive Activity with Senior Teaching Fellow Jan Jervis

12.30pm

Lunch (complimentary)

1.30pm

Kinect and Neurosky activity with Assistant Professor James Birt

2.15pm

Minecraft activity with Professor Jeff Brand

2.45pm

Feedback session and participation certificates

3.00pm

Conclusion

 

*Students are requested to find their own mode of transportation to and from the University.

Cost

Interactive Media Day is a complimentary event and places are limited, therefore we encourage with a keen interest in Interactive Media to register early to avoid disappointment.
