Program of Events
The objective of the FAM Tour is to provide you with a professional development experience, while enhancing your knowledge about Bond's Faculties, programs and departments.
Our program of events will be both interactive and hands-on using a real life case study to learn about the disciplines related to each Faculty; a common teaching method here at Bond. In utilising real life case studies it allows you to gain practical experience and also learn first-hand about this teaching method at Bond.
Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine
The case study starts with forensics as we explore a mock crime scene and search for evidence. Throughout the session, you will be briefed on the core elements necessary to piece together how the crime occurred with the assistance of our our forensics students and staff.
Faculty of Humanities and Social Science
Once the evidence has been reported on, it's time for the criminal psychologists to assist the police and forensics experts to solve the case.
Faculty of Law
You’ll learn how to argue like a lawyer with a court appearance as the accused goes on trial. Interact with students and staff as they demonstrate the skills that have made Bond University the number one law school in Australia for student satisfaction.*
Faculty of Business, Technology and Sustainable Development
- The Faculty of Business, Technology and Sustainable Development are soon launching some exciting new programs and Schools so we are excited to share this information with you. You’ll also be given a tour of our award winning Mirvac School of Sustainable Development's building where the students can see their sustainable theory put into practice.
- Hotel, Resort and Tourism academics will talk to you about the career opportunities for students in this industry. Worldwide tourism is a growth industry and Bond is working to prepare the tourism professionals of tomorrow.
- Lastly, you will learn about the MBA Orientation Program and the unique way we develop our MBA student's leadership skills
