In the Excellence in Research for Australia report released earlier this year, the Faculty of Business received outstanding results, which is a credit to the experienced academics we have on staff.
The report, which covered research in the period from 2003 to 2008, assesses research output and quality in 41 higher education institutions across 22 fields of research.
In the research field of Commerce, Management, Tourism and Services, the Faculty was ranked as world standard. This achievement placed Bond in the top 10 universities in Australia.
This field is further broken down by sub-category, and the Faculty achieved above world standing for research in business and management, which placed the Faculty in the top seven universities in Australia.
In the Economics field, the Faculty of Business was also ranked as world standard.
These results are a testament to the extensive and varied research interests of our academic staff, and our three research centres; the Centre for Leadership Studies, the Globalisation and Development Centre, and the Australian Centre for Family Business.
With the continuing increase of our commitment to research within the Faculty of Business since 2008, we are looking forward to excelling even further when the next report is released in 2012.
