The last event of the autumn season of Live at Bond will feature Mark Boulle and his band MB3 playing a selection of soothing tunes on Sunday May 27 from 3pm at Bond University’s ADCO Amphitheatre.
Mark Boulle is a well-known songwriter, singer, guitarist and producer, who boasts a repertoire of five self-produced and independently released albums of original compositions.
Boulle and his band deliver a unique blend of socially conscious indie folk music with gypsy and roots undertones, playing songs of love, social and political endeavours.
Performing with his new band MB3, Mark promises to also dig up a few oldies and revisit his catalogue of songs performed with previous band, Haba Dudes.
Mark is featured on the Gold Coast Music Industry Association and Business Gold Coast ‘Hidden Treasures’ compilation CD and his music is played on Triple J and across national community radio stations.
Support act Bond University student Chris Soo will be kicking off the afternoon with some acoustic indie.
Live at Bond was introduced by Bond University in July 2011 as part of its commitment to the arts, culture and community.
The free, outdoor music series will run seasonally in 2012, on the last Sunday of the month through Autumn and Spring, from 3pm-5:15pm.
Wine, beer, champagne, non-alcoholic beverages and snacks will be available for purchase at each event.
Live at Bond’s Spring season will launch on the last Sunday in September with a stellar line-up of local acts set to keep the Gold Coast community toe-tapping.
