What do a huge inflatable slide, a petting zoo and free fairy floss have in common?
They’re all part of Bond University’s Club Sign on Day, the customary celebrations that launch the start of every semester.
As semester two gets underway Bond University is celebrating its 23rd birthday with strong enrolments, welcoming more than 4000 students back to campus.
Hundreds of students turned out to attend semester two’s Club Sign on Day that took place on May 18.The event gave students the opportunity to sign up to more than 70 cultural and sporting clubs while getting to know new friends and catching up with old friends.
Event organiser and Bond University Students’ Association (BUSA) representative Jenna Wong said the day also gave clubs the chance to spruik what they’re all about.
“The number of student run clubs on campus is a testament to the community spirit we foster at Bond University,” said Jenna.
“Club Sign On Day is one of the most important events for clubs, societies and Faculty Student Association promotion and is an integral part of the student experience.”
