High School Sport Coaches and Physical Education Teachers are invited to attend a “Stronger, Faster, Safer” seminar at Bond University which has been designed to assist them achieve the best performances from young, aspiring athletes.
The free seminar will be hosted by Bond University’s Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine on Monday 6th of November to complement Fitness Week Queensland and will include presentations from some of Australia’s leading experts in the fields of Sports Science, Sports Psychology and Sports Physiotherapy.
The keynote speakers will address topics such as injury prevention and management, over-training in young athletes, recovery strategies, the psychology of training and performance and dietary supplements, along with some of the legal responsibilities of coaching young athletes.
The seminar format for “Stronger, Faster, Safer” has been designed to encourage easy exchange of information, with group discussion and case studies as important modes of learning. Accordingly, seminar numbers are limited.

The “Stronger, Faster, Safer” seminar will run from 9.45am to 2.45pm on Monday 6th of November at Bond University’s Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, and will be a unique opportunity for coaches and P.E. teachers to mix with others in their field and discuss current issues facing their profession.
