Biography:

Jacqueline McManus is currently Associate Head of School at the Australian School of Taxation (Atax), Faculty of Law, University of New South Wales.  She teaches across a wide range of courses covering, for example, fringe benefits tax, goods and services tax, tax policy and international tax at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level.  Jacqui’s teaching and research interests lie in learning and professional development, value added taxes, tax compliance and tax policy.  Jacqui has also had a particular interest in State taxes and has been involved in various NSW State tax reviews including inquiries regarding land tax, pay-roll tax and workers’ compensation.
