Introduction

The Public Private Partnership Executive Leadership Programme is primarily designed for senior managers in public sectors within Commonwealth countries.

The programme offers an opportunity for these officials to improve their knowledge and understanding of this specialised form of public procurement. The Commonwealth-Bond University Executive Leadership Programme is designed to examine Public Private Partnerships (PPPs) in all their dimensions.

Led by Dr. Michael Regan, Associate Professor of Infrastructure at Bond University in Queensland and Dr. Srinivas Sampath, Adviser and Head for Public-Private Partnerships at the Commonwealth Secretariat the programme is delivered by experienced academics, senior executives of the public sector, policy-makers and leading practitioners.

The programme examines best practice PPP principles with reference to PPP policy frameworks in industrialised and transition economies and makes extensive use of real life case studies from both developing and developed countries and also incorporates field trips to enhance learning all while enjoying Australia’s Gold Coast.

Participants will be awarded a joint Commonwealth Secretariat-Bond University Professional Certificate on completion.

The next programme is currently scheduled for April 2008.
