School of Hotel, Resort and Tourism Management Launch

The School of Hotel, Resort and Tourism Management was officially launched on Thursday 6 March, with senior executives from industry partner Marriott International, industry professionals and community leaders in attendance. The event was held in a marquee on the sundial, and guests enjoyed swing music, canapés and beverages as the sun set over the campus. Vice-Chancellor Professor Robert Stable welcomed guests, and Chancellor Mr Trevor C. Rowe AM acknowledged Bond’s appreciation of the Marriott International partnership. Head of School of Hotel, Resort and Tourism Management, Professor Elizabeth Roberts, outlined the school’s focus and degrees available in 2009, and Marriott International’s Mr Geoff Garside endorsed the programs and emphasised industry demand for graduates.
