The internship application should comprise two parts:

Part 1 - The Internship Application form

Students complete the application form including name and contact details, academic record, major area and an indication of your principal career interests at this time.

Part 2 – Resume and covering letter

This requires a covering letter and resume or curriculum vitae (CV). In the letter, students need to explain why they should be selected, why they are the best candidate for the internship, and the benefits they wish to receive should they be selected.

The resume or CV should list qualifications, work experience and the name of two referees. Portfolio items may be attached if they are appropriate. Interns will be selected on the basis of academic competence and perceived potential, career aspirations, and personal drive. Please forward one hard copy and one electronic copy to the Internships Coordinator by the end of week 6 in the semester prior to the expected placement.
