Enhancing Students’ Understanding of their Chosen Field

The internship program will enhance students’ understanding of their chosen career by giving them exposure to a real life environment as well as providing the possibility of employment opportunities. Students will benefit from interacting with professionals in their chosen area. This interaction will provide both formal and informal opportunities to learn about their chosen career path.

Students will gain experience in applying the knowledge they have obtained in their studies to a commercial/industry setting. They will also develop skills in project management, working to deadlines, working as part of a team, and preparing professional reports. These experiences are vital for a successful university to work transition and will enhance students understanding of the contemporary workplace environment.
