First cohort of Bond’s new Forensic Science program

2003

Completed a one-year Diploma of Justice at TAFE after graduating from high school.

2004

Enrolled in Bachelor of Social Science (Criminology) at Bond University, the only criminology program available on the Gold Coast.

Received five awards for academic performance, including the Vice Chancellor’s Award.

2006

Commenced a Graduate Certificate of Biomedical Science and a Master of Forensic Science concurrently as part of the first cohort in Bond’s new Forensics program.

Developed thorough understanding of the research process by completing a literature review and organising ethics clearances for a research project conducted by the John Tonge Centre.

Invited to attend the 2006 Disasters Victim Identification through contacts made at the John Tonge Centre.

2007

Intends to relocate to the United States after graduation and is confident of securing employment thanks to quality lab experience and international contacts of program coordinator. Ultimately aims to work for ASIO or ASIS in Australia.
