Pathways
The Faculty offers programs at both undergraduate and postgraduate level for students from non-English speaking backgrounds to raise their English Language level during rather than prior to tertiary studies.
Students will have an opportunity to develop their writing, reading, speaking and listening skills to prepare them for their undergraduate or postgraduate studies, or their chosen profession.
The programs offered provide a pathway for students to also enter their degree of choice with the possibility of taking across some credits to the degree.

There are a number of specialist programs available for students whose first language is not English, and who wish to study to improve their language skills and their knowledge of the English language as part of their graduate programs of study. These programs include the Graduate Certificate in University English Studies and the Graduate Diploma in University English Language Studies.
These courses are designed especially for students preparing to enter other graduate programs in H&SS, in Business, Information Technology, Law and other areas.
A major in the postgraduate program consists of 3 subjects, and 2 majors are generally required. Named degrees may have other requirements.
