Bond University Faculties
School of Humanities
Message From the Head of School
The Humanities School aims to offer programs that are educationally sound, well informed by research, and appropriate to the particular career outcomes of the many disciplines embraced in the School. Some of the academic centres offer specific degrees at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level while all offer discipline studies across the following:
- Education (postgraduate only)
- Applied Linguistics
- International Relations
- Philosophy
- Languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Spanish and French
Students benefit from teaching staff who enjoy international reputations for both their research, and their teaching in their specialist areas.
An important consideration for any university student is to ensure they are work ready and employer sought by the completion of their degree. Offerings in the Humanities School make sure that graduates have best practice skills appropriate to their individual degree. Broader philosophical and theoretical knowledge is embedded in the application of critical-analysis-thinking skills that apply to all careers.
I welcome you to the School of Humanities and wish you well in your studies.
