Support Services
Study Support
Assistance with study is available for those finding the fast track courses demanding. The two ways in which staff can assist students are with study skills, and advocacy.
Study skills covers three areas:
- self-awareness,
- memory function and the causes of forgetting, and
- study techniques.
These sessions are conducted in a group setting at the beginning of each semester, and individual sessions may also be arranged.
Advocacy involves the Personal Counsellors, Mr Mark Stringer and Ms Kate Bartlett, acting on behalf of students who may, because of illness or some other serious matter, wish to make application for special consideration regarding assignments, tests, presentations, etc.
