Teaching Quality
Bond University is committed to the delivery of quality service to its clients.
Our objective is to meet the needs of the Higher Education sector and other market areas through quality teaching and learning practices, research development and community outreach activities.
Bond University will achieve its goals through professional delivery of its services and by undertaking best practice in the management, administration and function of its operation.
Bond University aspires to provide a distinctive and innovative higher educational experience that produces uniquely identifiable graduates and to excellence in its core activities. Aspirations such as these require commitment to embedded quality assurance practices, best practice ideals, and continuous improvement. Quality assurance at Bond University is embedded in strategic planning and review processes that include three significant initiatives:
- the annual strategic planning process
- annual reporting of performance against objectives set out in the Bond University Balanced Scorecard
- periodic reviews that encourage re-evaluation of direction and performance in the major operational units.
The strategic planning and review processes operate within an overarching quality assurance framework that clearly defines strategic priorities, accountability, responsibility, and a cycle of continuous improvement. The constituents of that framework are:
- Bond University Balanced Scorecard (BSC)
- Quality Task Force
- Quality Strategy
- Quality Cycle
- Policies and Procedures
