About the Student Exchange Grant The Kearney Student Exchange Grants are designed to provide opportunities for Bond Law students to undertake an exchange semester at an overseas institution with one of our Law Exchange Partners. Funding for up to six of these Student Exchange Grants each year has been made available through the generosity of Dr John Kearney AM QC and Dr Alison Kearney. Drs John and Alison Kearney are among Bond University’s most dedicated supporters and generous benefactors and have remained so since the University’s inception. ValueUp to $4,000 AvailabilityUp to six students enrolled in the Faculty of Law will be eligible for the exchange grant Eligibility & Selection Criteria- Applications from law students who are planning an exchange semester
- Students must be enrolled in a full-time in either the LLB or JD programs in the Faculty of Law
- Students must have a cumulative percentage average of 75% or higher for law subjects
- Students must have completed at least three semesters of study prior to their application for exchange or the exchange grant
Application Submission Applications should include a two page resume, an academic transcript, details of the proposed exchange arrangement and an indication of financial needs. Should your application be successful, it is a requirement that you provide the Kearney Family and the Faculty of Law a written report of your experience including details of your presentation to the Host University. Where the exchange is being undertaken with an official university exchange partner, students should first apply to the Study Abroad office for the university's standard exchange allowance. Application DeadlineStudents who would like to apply should do so by Week 10 of the semester prior to their exchange.
