While studying, completed an internship with Gold Coast PR consultancy, Infront Communications, assisting in drafting editorial and media releases

2002

As part of course assessment, developed a crisis management plan for David Fleay’s Wildlife Park and worked on ‘real life’ projects for a variety of clients including Karuna Hospice in Brisbane, Cottage by the Sea in Victoria and Pipers Brook Vineyard in Tasmania

Recruited by Royal Pines Resort to join their Public Relations department as PR/Marketing Assistant while studying.

Provided media relations support for such events as the ANZ Ladies Masters Golf, the Uncle Toby’s Hardcourt Tennis Championships and the International Movie Convention

2003-2005

Started working as Public Relations Officer for Conrad
Jupiters prior to graduation.

Responsible for coordinating the property’s media relations, sponsorship and community relations activities. Works with international media and on major shows and events. Was invited back to Bond to speak to students about the Public Relations Industry
