1992 Commenced Bachelor of Arts, initially majoring in Public Relations then making an easy transfer to Journalism and Psychology thanks to Bond’s flexibility and core subjects
1993 Sub-edited Bond’s student newspaper Cynosure and started
Bond Radio, producing and presenting a radio news service
Undertook extensive work experience with Prime and Channel Ten News through Bond’s internship program and completed an internship with ABC-TV News arranged by lecturer and ABC journalist, Karen Berkman
1995 Secured job with Prime News and then NBN News in Newcastle as a presenter of the late edition Northern NSW news; also worked as a court and police reporter for both stations
2002 Joined TCN9’s Today Show as producer then transferred to Sky News, Australia’s only 24-hour news service as co-presenter of the First Edition morning news
2004 Highlights include interviewing Australian Prime Minister John Howard and other political leaders during the federal election campaign and covering the Boxing Day tsunami
