Hi, I'm Amanda Burling and I completed my Master of Public Relations and my MBA at Bond. My studies helped me progress from Marketing Manager of a small regional shopping centre to Centre Manager of a prestigious, iconic tourist centre. The most enjoyable part of my role is working with a great team of people - from the retailers to our contractors and staff. I am currently overseeing a $50 million refurbishment of the Centre, which is a very exciting & interesting project to be a part of.

mY cAREER sO fAR:After beginning my career at Seaworld Nara Resort on the Gold Coast as a Public Relations Officer, I decided to broaden my career prospects in the communications field and commenced my Master of Public Relations at Bond, which I took on while still working full-time. After working as Marketing Manager at a couple of small, regional shopping centres, I commenced my MBA at Bond to build on my management and finance skills and accepted the role of Centre Manager at Marina Mirage just prior to graduation.

MY BOND EXPERIENCE:Bond was a very fulfilling challenge. I met some very interesting, like minded people and forged some great friendships and had a lot of fun learning. It's a wonderful and supportive learning environment to be a part of.
