Journalism and Multimedia Student

I love travelling and adventure. One day I hope to combine both as part of an exciting career. At the moment this is just a dream, but I know through persistence and a bit of hard work, it will be a reality in just a few years.

STUDYING:Bachelor or Journalism / Multimedia (Mass Communication)

INTERESTS: I love the outdoors, so when I get the chance I like hanging out with my friends at the beach or going for walks around the Hinterland. Playing the odd spot of soccer or rugby can't go amiss either.

HOMETOWN: Cairns, Queensland

DREAM JOB: To travel the world as a journalist and be the first to break the news.

HOW BOND IS HELPING ME GET THERE:I want a job in broadcast journalism and Bond is helping me reach my goal. The uni has an amazing production studio where we create bulletins for our own news program BNN (Bond Network News) and this semester I took on the role of news anchor. In another subject we had an affiliation with the Gold Coast Sun and several of my stories were published in the newspaper. Bond is helping me create ties with industry, even organising my work experience at Nine Gold Coast News.
