Geordie

Urban Development & Sustainability student

My name is Geordie Whitcombe, I'm 24 years old and attempting to make the jump into the real estate development industry by complimenting my commerce and finance degree with a property-related qualification. I've lived on the Gold Coast on and off for the past 10 years and love to get out in the water. I lead a pretty active lifestyle and I am currently juggling full-time work and full-time uni with a view to graduating with my Masters in September '07.

STUDYING:Master of Urban Development & Sustainability

INTERESTS:Surfing, relaxing, swimming, jogging, chilling out or having a few drinks with my girlfriend and my mates.

HOMETOWN: Gold Coast, Australia

DREAM JOB:I'd like to have my own Real Estate Development or Financing firm by the time I am 32 years old.

HOW BOND IS HELPING ME GET THERE:Bond's fantastic scholarship program was what allowed me to come to Bond in the first place and since then I have really made the most of all the opportunities that come with a Bond degree. The chance to complete an exchange and 4 month internship with the Australian Embassy in Paris through Bond really broadened my horizons. Gaining first-hand experience inside a foreign embassy before graduating is virtually impossible and was only made possible because of Bond's connections with the Embassy.
