Justine
Masters of Clinical Psychology Student
A few years ago most of my family decided to migrate to Queensland, from freezing cold Melbourne. One night in the middle of winter I decided I just had to see what Queensland was all about. I got online and googled "Psychology Queensland". Bond University was the first link to come up. On the Bond homepage the "apply now" button was flashing so I hit it and submitted an application. Two weeks later I had been accepted into my Honours year and I packed up and headed for the Gold Coast.
STUDYING: Masters of Clinical Psychology
INTERESTS: I have a fascination with food and love to cook. I've always been interested in theatre and the Arts and I love going to the movies and eating out with family and friends. I also try to swim every day.
HOMETOWN: Melbourne, Australia
DREAM JOB:My dream job would include a mixture of both an academic career and clinical practice.
HOW BOND IS HELPING ME GET THERE: I have been given some amazing opportunities at Bond. At the completion of my Honours year I was able to gain probationary status as a Psychologist with the Queensland Psychology Board. I have attended and presented at a number of conferences and am currently trying to publish my work with my Supervisor Dr Richard Hicks.
