Medicine Student

From a very young age, I decided that when I grew up I would be one of two things- either a star in a spice girls-esq bandâ€¦ or a doctor. Unfortunately hundreds of hours of dance practice with my equally deluded friends to Spice Girls and Backstreet Boys songs was to no avail, thus I am on my way to becoming a doctor.

STUDYING: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery

INTERESTS: I love a good night out on the town, have been known to get caught singing at traffic lights, in the showerâ€¦ just anywhere really, enjoy a good run, and am an eternal Greyâ€™s Anatomy fan!

HOMETOWN: Brisbane (Queensland), Australia

DREAM JOB: A specialist physician or surgeon- not sure of what yet though; I keep on trying to narrow it down, however seem to love everything I try, so itâ€™s going to be a tough decision to make (thankfully I have at least 5 years to make up my mind!).

HOW BOND IS HELPING ME GET THERE:

Bond has provided me with a number of amazing opportunities that I feel would have escaped me had I gone to a bigger university. We are one big family studying med at Bond, and this is a rare entity in the med school world which is currently dominated by enormous class sizes due to the increasing student numbers.
