Laws and International Relations Student

I grew up in a small country town, so coming to Bond has been a wonderful and life changing experience. I have met a diverse range of individuals, many of them being International students. I love that there is always something to do at Bond!

STUDYING:Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of International Relations / Business - with a major in French Language.

INTERESTS:Travelling and meeting people. I love getting involved with all the social events at Bond - the bbq's, cocktail evenings, balls and the usual drinking at Don's Pub. These events are always good fun.

HOMETOWN: Yarramalong Valley - NSW

DREAM JOB: I am not exactly sure what my 'dream job' is at the moment. However, I do have aspirations of eventually becoming a barrister, hopefully in a top tier international law firm. I also hope to utilise my French skills.

HOW BOND IS HELPING ME GET THERE:Bond is an excellent university to study law at as they not only focus on the theoretical side of law; but really focus on teaching us the necessary legal skills too. Throughout our degree we participate in negotiations, trial advocacy, mooting, mitigations and interviews etc - which are all practical skills that I'll need in order to become a successful lawyer.

Where I See My Future Taking Me ...

London
Living in Paris,
London, or New York

Working as a barrister
for a top international law firm

Who I Would Love to Be for One Day ...

Denny Crane - the lawyer off the TV show 'Boston Legal'. In my point of view, he is extremely witty and entertaining and provides a new perspective on how the law really functions. I like the fact that his character is down to earth and not always right!
