I was fortunate to have a successful career in the public company space behind me when I decided to study my MBA at Bond. I wanted to strengthen and qualify the theoretical framework that supported my significant practical experience and chose Bond because of the excellent reputation it has for delivering high quality programs and the highly personalised nature of the Bond study experience.

MY CAREER SO FAR: Currently I'm Managing Director of Cleanspray Holdings (Australia) - a wholesale and distribution company with a national footprint that also has distributors in New Zealand and the US. We have manufacturing partners both domestically and in China. I am also Chairman of an unlisted public company, which has rapid expansion plans in the renewable energy sector within Australia and South East Asia.

In both these roles I love the diversity of duties and also the ability to constantly interact with interesting, like-minded people who are driving hard to achieve their personal and professional ambitions. I'm constantly inspired by the people I interact with.

MY BOND EXPERIENCE: My "Bond Experience" has been extremely positive. Firstly, my high expectations of the quality of the delivery have been met. Additionally, Bond has really delivered on the promise of having one-on-one access to Faculty members. It really is a very professional, personalised delivery.

The other big positive is the fantastic professional networking opportunities the MBA has provided me. I've formed some great friendships with fellow members of my cohort and as a group we're also comfortable providing feedback to each other outside of the context of the MBA. Participation in the program has really strengthened my professional circle.

The third key aspect of my "Bond Experience" is that the program has really challenged me to question and analyse my own thought processes, management style and personal beliefs. It's been a very powerful learning experience that has had a profoundly positive impact on me as an individual.

MY GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT ...

Unquestionably my greatest achievement is my family. I have a beautiful wife and two lovely children and we are a solid, supportive team. There are times when work commitments can dominate and that's okay if you have the support of your family, but it's also vital to take time out to repay that support and put a meaningful, non-monetary contribution back into the family unit.
