Shilo
Project Management Student
After 10 years in the engineering workforce, I'm back in the land of tertiary studies as a postgrad student and I'm also a mum! My goal at uni is to get enough eduction behind me so that I can lecture in my field of project management. My goal in life is to achieve a balance. I'm seeking a career that challenges me and in some way contributes to improving our society whilst leaving me time to spend with my family and friends. I have a way to go to get there yet, but I am progressing, that's the main thing!
STUDYING: Masters of Project Management
INTERESTS: Travelling, Aussie Rules Football, Country Music
HOMETOWN: Torquay (Victoria), Australia
DREAM JOB: To be a damn good lecturer and do voluntary work in the area of environmental and social sustainability
HOW BOND IS HELPING ME GET THERE: I love the small classes at Bond. The individual attention is fantastic. The facilities are excellent and I've found the lecturers to have relevant work experience to support their teaching and my learning. As a mum, having the option to take classes in intensive mode and the flexibility in class schedules has been very helpful for me. I also love the fact that it's a pleasant 2.5km bike ride to Bond's beautiful campus from my house!
