Yvette
Law and International Relations Student
After years of competitive gymnastics I decided that the ability to walk on my hands was probably not going to help me save the world. So I am now studying Law and International Relations at Bond and just returned from an internship with the Australian Embassy in Paris.
STUDYING: Law and International Relations with majors in Diplomacy and Global Governance and a minor in French studies.
INTERESTS:Playing the trumpet, mixed netball (my on-campus team omelette!), and occasionally doing flying trapeze.
HOMETOWN: Melbourne, Australia
DREAM JOB:The Australian representative to UNESCO would be my dream job - based in Paris!
HOW BOND IS HELPING ME GET THERE:Bond's fantastic scholarship program was what allowed me to come to Bond in the first place and since then I have really made the most of all the opportunities that come with a Bond degree. The chance to complete an exchange and 4 month internship with the Australian Embassy in Paris through Bond really broadened my horizons. Gaining first-hand experience inside a foreign embassy before graduating is virtually impossible and was only made possible because of Bond's connections with the Embassy.
