Deferment

Domestic Students

Once an offer of a place in a Bond University program has been made by QTAC, you can apply to postpone the commencement of your studies by:

1. Accepting the QTAC offer
2. Selecting the deferment option on your Bond University Response to Offer form
3. Returning the form with your tuition deposit or completed Fee-Help form to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible.

International Students

Once an offer of a place in a Bond University program has been made, you can apply to postpone the commencement of your studies by:

1. Selecting the deferment option on your Bond University Response to Offer form
2. Returning the form with your tuition deposit or first semester fees to the Office of Admissions as soon as possible.

All Students

Please note that deferment of scholarships will only be granted in certain circumstances, such as illness, family bereavement or essential overseas travel. Students seeking deferment of scholarships should send a letter stating the reasons for seeking deferment, with supporting documentation, to the Office of Admissions.

*Applicants who are offered a place in the Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) are unable to defer their offer.
