The Bond Difference

Cross Faculty Approach

Bond’s Forensic Science program is the first in Australia to combine the core disciplines of biomedical science, criminology and law, drawing on world-renowned experts and facilities across the three relevant Faculties.

State-Of-The-Art Facilities

Easy access to Bond’s state of the art, $20 million Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine building with specialist forensics laboratories equipped with a DNA extraction robot and DNA typing instruments. Students also experience how to present forensic evidence in a courtroom situation using the advanced e-courtrooms in our Legal Skills Centre.

Practical Work Experience

Forensic Science students are encouraged to undertake internships and work placements with forensics laboratories, police investigation units and law firms, arranged by our expert academics using their extensive Australian and international industry contacts.

Students are encouraged to participate in cutting edge research projects at Bond’s Centre for Applied Psychology and Forensic Criminology.

Complete Your Degree Faster

Bond enables you to complete your Bachelor of Forensic Science degree in just two years and a Masters in 12 months by scheduling three full semesters per year, with intakes in January, May and September for most degrees.

Higher Level Qualifications

Progress seamlessly through Bachelor, Masters and PhD level qualifications or graduate with two degrees in the same time most students take to complete just one by combining your Bachelor of Forensic Science degree with other relevant undergraduate programs.
