This program provides graduates with strong scientific skills, along with a thorough understanding of the methods and standards used in forensic laboratories and the legal framework within which this work must be carried out. Graduates will be well placed to seek employment in forensic areas such as:

- Legal areas dealing with civil and criminal scientific matters.
Further Study
Undergraduate qualifications in Forensic Science provides an ideal foundation for research-based Honours, Masters and PhD programs or further studies in law, criminal justice, biomedical and health sciences.
Immediately upon completing the Bachelor of Forensic Science, high achieving students may apply for the Faculty’s Honours program – a combination of coursework and research whereby they will conceptualise, plan, organise, undertake and report on an independent research project.
