Student Support
The Academic Lead, Student Support for the School of Medicine is available to discuss sensitive or personal topics or to provide advice of a general academic nature. For students with concerns about managing homesickness, uncertain career direction, discussions regarding medical care, psychological therapy, tutoring, study skills improvement and financial problems to name a few, appointments can be made with the Academic Lead to discuss.
The Program Advisor is available to discuss University/School policies, procdures and regulations, general support and advice for escalating potential issues, disciplinary matters and students' actual movement within the program.
Personal Support
The Student Counsellors at Bond University offer a totally confidential counselling service to help you with anything from study pressures to personal problems.
If you are struggling with a lack of motivation, depression or are dealing with a severe trauma, you may find that one-on-one sessions with our counsellors will give you the skills to cope. They have excellent contacts with the wider healthcare community and can arrange specialist, professional assistance off campus, if required.
