Description
The Master of Communication (Business) (Professional) is an innovative degree, which allows students to specialise in both communication and business, while simultaneously developing workplace and business skills highly valued by employers. The program consists of a core of postgraduate subjects, plus two specialist majors: one from the School of Business and one from the School of Communication and Media. Students develop an understanding of the fundamental concepts of communication as they apply to business – married with the marketing imperatives of organisations. The program culminates in a field project, field project report and a professional portfolio detailing a student’s research and practical expertise in their chosen vocational area.

Completion of an industry intership is a requirement of this degree.

The Master of Communication (Business) (Professional) is designed to equip students with the knowledge and experience to enable them to step into an organisation and assist with the development and implementation of communication strategies and business plans. Knowledge of communication is beneficial to any career and plays a vital role in the functioning of all modern government, business and industrial organisations.
