Master of Financial Management
Duration: 12 Subjects (120 Credit Points); Flexible part-time options are available for domestic students only
The Master of Financial Management provides students with an understanding of financial management principles and their applications. Accredited by AACSB International, the one year degree is suitable for graduates of any discipline who wish to improve their analytical skills for interpreting and analysing financial information and gain greater insight into financial markets, instruments and institutions. Students can choose options in finance, accounting, or other areas to supplement individual financial management interests.
Duration: 92 weeks full-time (4 semesters plus 20 weeks).
The Master of Financial Management (Professional) program includes an additional Work Integrated Learning component, designed to promote student learning and professional practice in the workplace. Students participate in a series of experiential exercises that may include field trips, guest lectures from industry leaders and projects. Academic staff and a career advisor monitor all exercises. The subject facilitates students’ ability to apply theoretical knowledge to solve practical workplace problems.

Work Experience & Internships
Some students without practical workplace experience, or with workplace experience in a field different from their studies, may consider undertaking an internship as part of their Master of Financial Management degree. Internships and work placements are subject to permission from the Faculty.
The Master of Financial Management prepares you for entry level positions in the finance industry in Australia and internationally. The degree meets the demands of industry and graduates may find employment as account managers, financial analysts and financial advisors.
Bond University is registered with ASIC for RG146 compliance. Students must complete FINC71-600 Managerial Finance and FINC71-318 Personal Investments if they wish to meet the RG146 compliance.
