Master of Laws (by Research)

Duration: 6 Semesters Full-Time; Flexible Part-Time Available

Description

The Master of Laws (Research) (LLM(Research)) program can be completed via a 50,000 word research project. While the Faculty can offer supervision in most areas of law, it has particular strengths in:

  • Alternative Dispute Resolution
  • International Trade Law
  • Intellectual Property, Information Technology and E-Commerce
  • International Legal Practice

Professional Outcomes

For domestic students, the LLM provides a specialist postgraduate qualification to augment your practice of law in Australia. For international students, the program provides a wide range of international law, comparative law, IP and trade law and dispute resolution subjects to broaden and internationalise an undergraduate law qualification.
