Master of Property Valuation (Professional)

Description

The Master of Property Valuation (Professional) degree teaches the specific skills, attitudes and knowledge required by both public and private organisations to assess value and potential of real property assets from an occupational, investment and development perspective. You will complete a program of core subjects and then a 20-week Work Integrated Learning subject.

Work Integrated Learning

Work Integrated Learning is designed to promote student learning and professional practice. Students participate in a series of experiential exercises that may include field trips, guest lectures from industry leaders and projects. Academic staff monitor all exercises. The subject facilitates students’ ability to apply theoretical knowledge to solve practical workplace problems. 

Professional Recognition

Graduates of this program will be professionally recognised by the Australian Property Institute (API). The API accreditation allows you to apply for registration as Certified Practising Valuers upon graduation, provided you meet professional practice requirements. International accreditation for this degree has also been achieved with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
