2013 Mirvac Undergraduate Scholarship
About the Scholarship
Mirvac is a leading integrated real estate group that are listed on the Australian Securities Exchange (“ASX”) with activities across the investment and development spectrums. Established in 1972, Mirvac is committed to sustainability principles at all levels of their business. The prestigious Mirvac Scholarships are awarded by Bond University’s Mirvac School of Sustainable Development. Scholars are selected on the basis of exceptional academic achievement, proven leadership ability, personal character and their willingness to help and inspire others. Two (2) scholarships will be offered in 2013 to students across the breadth of programs offered by the Mirvac School of Sustainable Development, with one scholarship to be allocated to a first year undergraduate full time student and one scholarship offered to a second year undergraduate full time student.
Value
Each scholarship will consist of $12,500 with funding allocated to tuition fees for students enrolled full time in any undergraduate degree offered by the Mirvac School of Sustainable Development within the scholarship period. Please note: Scholarships cover tuition only and will not provide for accommodation, living expenses, text books, travel, or other personal or incidental expenses.
Availability
Two (2) Mirvac Undergraduate Scholarships will be awarded in 2013. - One undergraduate scholarship will be allocated to a new student enrolling full time in their first year of study
- One undergraduate scholarship will be allocated to a current student enrolling full time in their second year of study
Eligibility
- Available to Domestic Students who are currently completing year 12 at an Australian High
- Applicant must have a school predicted OP 1-7, predicted ATAR 99.95-87.20 or predicted IB 45 – 32 with A’s/B’s or VHA’s/HA’s on Year 11 and 12 school reports
- Applicant must commence at the Mirvac School of Sustainable Development in January 2013.
- Demonstrated strong leadership skills and involvement in extra-curricular activities via Summary of Achievements
- Demonstrated desire to work within their chosen Sustainable Development field based on preferred degree program
- Applicant must be available to attend an Interview in November 2012 held either at Bond University campus or Sydney (transportation to the interview is at the cost of the applicant), however interviews via Skype may be considered at the discretion of the Mirvac Scholarship Selection Panel

Applicants will be assessed based on their ability to meet the eligibility criteria listed.
