Structure & Subjects*

The Bachelor of Biomedical Science comprises 24 subjects, as follows:

University Core Subjects (4)

Bond University graduates are distinguished in the workplace by their superior leadership, communication and entrepreneurial abilities. These abilities are fostered through our unique Core Skills Program, whereby all Bachelor-level degrees must include one subject from each of the following four disciplines:

Communication

Knowledge and Critical Thinking

Leadership, Initiative and Teamwork

Responsibility

Pre-2013 Students:

New Students 2013 Onwards:

Foundation Subjects (7)

Advanced Discipline Subjects (5)

Majors (8)

Complete eight subjects from one of the following majors:

Laboratory / Research

Pre-Health Professional

Nutrition

Plus two subjects from the following:

Forensics

 

International Students

To fulfil your student visa requirements, you will need to enrol in 40 credit points per semester.

Domestic Students

You have the option of undertaking either 30 or 40 credit points per semester.

Teaching Methodology

Bond University’s teaching methodology involves a combination of lectures, tutorials, seminars, examinations, projects, presentations, assignments, computer labs and industry projects.
